Landscape Construction Foreman

We are a locally owned, growing design, build and maintain firm. We are looking for a self-motivated Landscape Foreman to join our team.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have a valid driver's license with no major violations in the past 3 years
  • Requires High School Degree or GED
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a landscape Foreman in a Landscape Construction related environment
  • Experience working for a high end Outdoor Living Company preferred
  • Excellent communication skills -- must be able to read and write English
  • Irrigation experience/knowledge required.
  • Horticulture/landscaping knowledge a plus
  • The ability to trouble shoot irrigation and do all aspects of installation of a new system.
  • Bi-lingual a plus
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read landscape design prints
  • Ability to work some weekends/evenings and in inclement weather
  • Ability to perform the physical demands of the position including regularly lifting up to 80 pounds, standing, walking, crouching, stoop/kneeling, and reaching with hands and arms

Lawn Maintenance Foreman

We are a locally owned, growing design, build and maintain firm. We are looking for a self-motivated Lawn Maintenance Foreman to join our team.

DUTIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:

As a Lawn Maintenance Foreman, you will report to the Account Manager and Field Supervisor per job. The foreman will follow up with texts/calls for job duties and details to maintain a superior level of communication and high standards. Will direct the activities of a team consisting of 1-2 crew members ensuring proper, efficient and timely maintenance of residential and/or commercial properties. Areas of responsibility include: Loading equipment for daily routes, proper mowing techniques on each individual property, maintaining of grounds to include weeding of flower beds, edging, blowing off hardscape areas, seasonal color installation, mulch/pine needle installation, and minor irrigation repairs. Will be required to communicate the day-to-day accomplishments and improvements with both crew members and supervisors.

Skilled Lawn Maintenance Laborer

We are a locally owned, growing design, build and maintain firm. We are looking for a self-motivated Skilled Lawn Maintenance Laborer to join our team.

JOB DUTIES:

Lawn Maintenance Laborer will report to the Lawn Maintenance Foreman. Will be working on a team using hand tools, such as shovels, rakes, pruners, saws, hedge or brush cutters, and axes. May operate: mowers, tractors, twin-axle vehicles, electric clippers or sod cutters. Care for established lawns by mulching, aerating, weeding, grubbing, removing thatch or trimming and edging around flower beds, walks or walls. Other duties include: watering sod, trees, or plants using a portable sprinkler system, hoses, or watering cans, prune or trim trees, shrubs, or hedges. Required to pick up and dispose of trash or debris on all properties.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have at least 3 years’ experience with installing plantings and seasonal color, installation of mulch and pine needles, pruning, irrigation, outdoor lighting, and sod installation.

Skilled Landscape Construction Laborer

We are a locally owned, growing design, build and maintain firm. We are looking for a self-motivated Skilled Landscape Install/Construction Laborer to join our team.

JOB DUTIES:

The Landscape Construction Laborer is responsible for working as a team member under the direct supervision of the Landscape Construction Foreman. Responsible for completing construction landscape installation jobs throughout greater Charlotte area in an efficient manner. Promoting job worksite safety, providing excellent customer service, and exhibiting pride and quality workmanship. Understand and meet production and project schedule deadlines without sacrificing great customer service or excellent quality. Always represent the company’s best interest, maintain the highest level of integrity and professionalism. Attend training classes and seminars as requested by management. Perform other tasks or projects as assigned/instructed by Foreman.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have valid driver’s license
  • Must have at least 3 years’ experience with:
    • Knowledge and experience in installing a variety of hardscape applications
    • Experience laying sod, demo, pergola, lighting, irrigation
    • Experience working for a high end Outdoor Living Company preferred
