Pains & Resolutions: The clients were attending a fundraiser for Grace Life Ministries and bought a MetroGreenscape design package for landscaping. They wanted to do a larger project as well but was unsure of the timing. Todd Cioppa, the sales rep for MetroGreenscape connected them with an architect, who was able to recommend a few changes and the project moved forward.
Testimonials: We had a comprehensive project of hardscape, landscape, and lighting. Everyone at MetroGreenscape was truly a pleasure to work with. From beginning to end. Our Sales rep, Todd did a great job in helping us understand the detailed pricing elements and made recommendations for us that would save us money on certain elements. They referred us to a great architect who truly made our ideas come to life. Once the project started, the hardscape (porch with EZ-Breeze windows) was sub-ed out to Precision Building - Chris Williams and I cannot say enough good things about this him and his team. He helped us troubleshoot and make changes on the fly that he thought we would like and he was absolutely right. He stood by his work at every turn and I would could easily trust him to always do the right thing. MetroGreenscape had the patio and firepit built in conjunction and the team that worked that piece, was always very professional and did a fabulous job. We were very happy with their work. We had an issue with some chipped tiles toward the end of the project on the porch interior and MetroGreenscape replaced every last one without question. Finally, Chris from MetroGreenscape's design team came out to walk through the landscape piece and helped us select plants and create a design that has truly transformed out backyard. Now due to the hot summer months, we've had a lot of issues keeping plants and sod alive and they will be back to replace that once the weather cools down. Again, another testament to the type of people they are and the fact that the stand behind their work. The only thing I would say, is that you need to make sure you are happy with what they are doing every step of the way. They will fix anything you are not happy with, but if you don't QA the work to your standards, then they won't know. That's the one area where I feel they could make some improvements. I did keep my own punch list that I sent over to them almost weekly during some weeks of the project and this helped us all stay on the same page as to what was open. I may be more detailed than most, but that was important to us in getting to our final result. We also had some confusion around the gas starter for our firepit and I would recommend if you go this route, that you include the gas plumber in the design process early on. I feel like we could have saved a lot of time and a few blunders had we engaged them earlier in the project. Overall, we were extremely happy with the team. Rudy and Orlando were the leads on most of the landscaping and lighting work and I can't say enough good things about them. They were truly phenomenal and hard working. I would recommend MetroGreenscape and already have to neighbors and friends and hope if you select MetroGreenscape that you will be as happy with their work as we were.
